Hopi Mesas

This full-day trip takes you up Oak Creek Canyon and on to the Colorado Plateau as we journey through the Navajo Indian Reservation to our destination, the Hopi Mesas. Our tour includes a visit to the oldest continuously inhabited village in North America. We'll visit with Hopi tribal members and Native American artists.

A spring trip may include a sacred Hopi Katsina Dance in an ancient village. You'll learn about the history of these pueblo people while immersing yourself in the beauty of Hopi art and culture on this personalized expedition.

Multi-Day Adventure

Navajo Reservation

Join us on a personalized journey into the heart of the expansive beauty of the Navajo Reservation. Choose a two or three day trip to see Native American Art and breathtaking natural landscapes. A three-day Trading Post tour in Navajo land will take you into the depths of the largest reservation in the US. On this special trip you'll visit remote Posts and learn about Navajo Textiles, Baskets, Sandpaintings and Jewelry while traveling through a landscape of astounding natural beauty.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1. Leave Sedona at 7:00 AM for a 3-hour drive to an amazing natural bridge. This is a short 2-mile hike. Enjoy a picnic lunch with expansive views of the Navajo Reservation. After lunch, we continue our journey on remote back roads stopping for photos and visiting a Reservation Trading Post to experience Native American Art. We arrive at our Monument Valley lodge late in the day.

Day 2. We begin our day's adventure after breakfast exploring the natural beauty and expanse of Monument Valley. After lunch, we leave for Canyon de Chelly (pronounced Canyon de Shay) and arrive for an afternoon hike to an Anasazi Archeological Site.

Day 3. We rise for an early breakfast and take in the canyon by car, stopping often for photographs. We may visit Navajo people living on the Canyon's rim before we return to Sedona late in the afternoon arriving by 7 or 8 pm.
